Joshua Moreno
Joshua Moreno is an interdisciplinary artist from Watsonville, California. He received his BFA at the University of California San Diego where he studied studio art with an emphasis in sculpture and installation. Since 2012, he has been an art educator teaching courses in art history, filmmaking, and studio art. Currently, he is an MFA art practice candidate at Stanford University.
“In my work, I examine the overlapping relationship between the natural and man-made environment and highlight patterns and systems of efficiency that exist within them. Through installation, drawing, and film, I re-evaluate the everyday spaces and objects that surround us, with added attention to elemental phenomena.”

Composition G
COMPOSITION G is a time and site-specific installation that examines the overlapping relationship between the natural and man-made environment. In this immersive experience, viewers are presented with textured and multilayered projections produced by a process that relies heavily on chance, randomness, and external/elemental forces.

Upon reaching address, enter Ikea parking garage and park on the ground level in parking row G near store entry
Walk west toward HWY 101 past the two concrete dividing walls labeled with the letter G
Once you get to the other side of these walls you have entered the site of Composition G
